Monday - Sort of a Double Diane .......

Well...It's Monday....
It was sort of a slow day for me. Worked a little in the morning and then Ronja and I took a walk  - she swam twice.....clearly not too cold for her.....




I went to the globo gym and did my greasing and some of the homework.....
As I was doing my greasing Coach U finished his work out....it was a gnarly one, running, thrusters and ring push-ups, he is really strong !

My back i still giving me crap...left side sucks....
Greasing went well except tall push jerk - have to keep load low or back hurts...

At 3PM my session with Coach U started and we did
back ext 4 x 10 slowly
back ext on pilates ball
som balance movements on the pilates ball....it works fine as long as I don't loose my balance..then back hurts.

Deadlift 30 x 20kg

Good and warm

So Coach U has a suggestion  - a Double Diane sort of ...push press instead of HSPU....

His way of selling this to me was that the drop between reps is bigger than if you do 21-15-9.....
well YEah! but I have to do more reps!!!:-)

 He is funny.

So 42-30-18 for time
Deadlift 50kg
Strict Press 15kg - (he did take away some reps when I bent my knees...)

time 10:43
(Wait that was 90 deadlifts and 90 presses......)
Shoulders, triceps, mid back, and hamstrings - yeah still got them but it sucked all the way.
I had some sort of strategy but I started breaking the sets all except last 18 deadlifts - solid all the way...


Did the rest of the homework when I got home.

My back needs some talking to......
