.....
it's been a long time.
A lot of thinking, learning how to walk again, progress, pain and a lot of patience.
With myself and others.
My training has been to learn how to walk - to not compensate , to push off from the right places, to not shift weight over and so on. Concious walking if you want to call it something.
And I got a training buddy - her name is Belle and she is a rescue Amstaff mix puppy - she has been with me for about 5 weeks now and she gets me out every day - for about 2 + hours every day - if you count all our time on our feet
- that is 2+ hours more than before.
Let me hold on to that.
Belle is not good at being alone at all - so going swimming, Bikram or gym will have to wait a little.
It has been a really though year.
I have gained weight about 20kg or 45 lbs probably - not sure since I don't have a scale -
- but I am on my way down
I fell out of my consistent training.
-but I have now started to walk every day with my dog
I stopped eating healthy to self medicate.
-but I am doing better and better and I did not start drinking, smoking or doing drugs.
I have looked at all the social media and thought to myself that everyone else has had such great success.
-but I also know that we present what we want others to see.
- and I have great inspiration from the Instagram and blogs of some other athletes.
Take a look at these:

I did however complete Marathon des Sables this April with an injury so I was slow as hell but finished.
I did take care of my ankle and had surgery.
I did get myself out of my hole and making progress.

Bikram Yoga....
and CrossFit(with my coach Syn Martinez of AfroBrutality)
Swimming and water running
Hill vandering - yes a hill up and down
Better eating....
life is life. it goes on no matter what. might as well join in.
