April 2 - travel to Morocco April 3 breakfast in Morocco

Started the day with some blood work that I needed to do before my trip - unrelated to the adventure. Got that done. Then I stopped by CroasFit Södra Station  - there the naprapath PĂ€r gave me some intra muscular acupuncture - I have said it before and I day it again. Unicorn stabbing. Man. That shit is painful. But good. He did say I was going to limp out of there which I did.
Anyway. I am going k be for for fight once we are in our way to the desert.
Arrived in Casablanca and switched to the domestic terminal.  Not very complicated  just a little walk throughout the airport. Following different colored lines on the floor so that was very manageable.
As soon as I got to the me terminal - a room with a cafe and 5 gates- I saw many fellow racers. Hard to miss them with their backpacks - Velcro ruined shoes - and slight obsessed look. This is it.

One woman I met - we chatted for a while she is a teacher in Boston. Inner city school computers was her charity. She is raising money for her school to have computers  for the kids.
Already awesome people. She was talking about the packing a lot. I can feel I need to adjust that before we go. I need to drop some weight in my pack. One man was here for the second time- last year he had to drop out due to illness after the 1st stage. He was very emotional to be back. So much emotion in the air. One man was here for the 4 th time. I really want to finish  I am thinking. One step at a time. Mindful positive and determined.
On the short flight to Ouarzazate people around me was taking about their training their races their food. Not everyone of course but some. Kind of like a CrossFit competitions.
Except the two guys in front of me. They are s brothers that came first and second last year. They took a nap. I liked that. That seemed better.

The teacher mentioned that Jay Batchen was on the flight - the US organizer. He was very kind and made sure we were all alright. He is going to ha a packing lecture today- writing this in the morning of Wednesday - so I am going to it.

Most people are staying at the hotel that Se are being picked up from. I am not I found a gem that so 12 euro a night. Me am another guy - who by the way ran the 4 Deserts last year- had booked here.

I got to my room. It is clean people are very nice the walls are blue and I have wifi.
All good.

Siting right now with a big breakfast. Non Paleo. Bread and coffe fresh orange juice and yoghurt.
They people here are worried that I am just typing. Not eating.
More soon.  And pictures as soon as I can figure out how.

Peace.  Love. CrossFit. Life.
