DMV - AMRAP in lines .....:-)

Friday in the big city.

Meetings, taxi rides and DMV.....Department of Motor Vehicles.......

I spent about 3,5 hrs in the DMV office today. 

I stood the information line....and got a number from the information lady....

waited for about an hour....

Got a new number from the second lady and found out that I had an unpaid parking ticket from 2004.....well it was paid but late so it was now double and my license had been suspended (plus the fact that it was expired !!!!)

Anyway  - I went across the hall and paid my fine - no line!

Back to the second lady and she gave me a new ticket to a new line -

the take your picture and take the test line....

studied the material on line - thank you for inventing the iphone...

took the test

waited to hear if I passed.

I passed- got a new ticket to wait on the pay-for-all-this-line

paid....

and now I have to spend Saturday in a 5 hr class so I can take my road test again.

Note to self - don't let your Drivers license expire...

But I had a great day - people watching, and everyone was very nice and helpful - and I am not being sarcastic..

I would do something with the decor.....not my style but it works...

Now dinner with my friend Mary Lee.
