Yeah.
Been terrible keeping up here.
Did the YT100 miler. It was epic.
30 hr and 50 min. Slow as fuck but I did it.
Lost almost all my toenails - whatever - they came off in the weeks following.
Took 2 full weeks off.
Then back at it -been training for about 3 weeks now. 2 of which I was on Oahu.
Heat and sand training and lots of just walking on the beach.......
anyway, today, I had my best training run ever.
8 miles
1 mile pw
6 miles on my half mile hill, run halfway up pw rest run down
1 mile run easy 4:1
everything was easy - I ran in the dark - I had a light but I turned it off - it was easier and my feet found the ground like magic.
About 3 miles in I stopped feeling tired at all - my legs just moved - my body got light-
it's the first time I've been 'flying' while running.....been while dancing, while sex, while getting a tattoo, but this was pretty cool.
brain chemical cocktail deluxe session on the hill today.
