Because my feet hurt pretty badly I decided to walk only this session and see what happened.
I walked 2 loops in central park counter clockwise and almost a full loop clockwise so I got 29,1 km !!! Almost the same as when I ran 10 walked 5...
I slowed down hour 4-5.
Feet and calves and pelvic bottom was hurting pretty badly.
I was not out of breath at all just the pain in my legs, calves, feet and pelvic/groin ??!? And lower back started to lock up around 3 hrs in.
The pressure rashes are still there - tried new socks from Lululemon - good stuff -it helps but don't make it all go away.
The muscles in my legs and feet need to develop w. rocket speed.
This time I had a pre run meal of
Hamburger and sweet potatoe
Fries no bun
During the run I had 3 liters of
Electrolytes and 1 liter of water.
No hammer bars or gels. After 3 hours I started to feel it bad
Trying to figure out what works for me o eat before, during and after.
Took an Epsom salt bath after.
Felt pretty good. Hopefully it was good.
Positive things
Knees are not so swollen.
Got a talking to from coach about food. No more Paleo - need more carbs before and after.
Making a switch to Zone food.
Trying more carbs to speed up recovery and longevity on the runs.
